1.21 crore is such a huge number and unbelievingly 12167679 candidates have applied for the RRB NTPC 2025 Exam. Everyone must be thinking that it would be challenging for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) to conduct an online exam for this number of candidates, but RRB is well known for successfully managing exams each year. The number of vacant seats is very less in comparison to the candidates who applied. For 11,558 vacancies, 1.21 crore will be competing, which depicts that only 0.09% of the total candidates will be selected.
12167679 Candidates Applied for RRB NTPC Exam 2025
As per reports, a total of 12167679 candidates have applied for the RRB NTPC Exam, out of which 5840861 candidates applied for graduate-level posts, and 6326818 candidates applied for 12th-level posts. Till now, only the total number of applications received has been shared, and it is expected that the region-wise number of candidates will be released soon. For selecting eligible candidates for 11558 vacancies for various posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), the exam is expected to be held in May-June 2025. RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025 will be announced shortly through an official notice at all regional websites.
