After introducing the world to Grizzly and Firefly, the US-based tiny house manufacturing company, Great Lakes Tiny Home, has unveiled another model. Dubbed Aspen tiny house, the towable dwelling has less floorspace than other mobile homes offered by the company, but still offers lots of room for storage. This is possible thanks to a well-designed interior that’s accoutered with cupboards, nooks, and drawers. On top of that, it’s a light-filled dwelling thanks to a gaggle of windows outfitted in the core-shell.
Based on a double-axle trailer, the Aspen tiny house is 26 feet long and 12 feet wide. It isn’t very small but is nearly half the size of Park Models popular today. The interior is clad in tongue & groove pine on the ceiling and white MDF board on the walls. A black metal roof provides durability to the structure and withstands harsh weather conditions.
Access to the home is gained by a glass door and inside, a total of 312 square feet of floor space is available. Visitors enter directly into the kitchen, which features birch cabinets and a countertop with a stainless steel sink.
There is no dearth of storage in the room as the kitchen comes equipped with overhead cabinets, shelves, and drawers that host nitty-gritty essentials. Not to mention, a refrigerator and a microwave, which are essential for full-time living.

Adjacent is the living room of the house. It isn’t capacious enough to be filled with standard furnishings but can feature a small sofa and table without much hassle. It also includes a small closet that comes in handy for storing clothes and footwear.
A door leads to the main-floor bedroom of the house. Sleeping two people comfortably, the bedroom boasts large glazing that keeps the area bright during the day.
On the alternative end of the bedroom is the bathroom of the Aspen tiny house that features a toilet and a shower. The other bedroom of the house lies atop the bathroom. Accessed via a ladder, the bedroom sleeps two people and features wooden slats for privacy and safety. The tiny house gets its power from a standard RV-style hookup and is available for a base price of $66,250
