Heissa Holzmarkt.
With our nerves hanging on very thin threads these days due to… – let’s just call it circumstances – there is only one thing that really keeps us sane at bay: the prospect of Christmas. It’s like that warm, cozy light at the end of the tunnel that’s the second year of a fucking pandemic.
While many markets did not happen last year, current vaccinations and regulations allow them to happen again this year. We’re glad they are because the Christmas and winter markets are a big part of the magic of the holiday season. And no better excuse to stock up on mulled wine than a visit to a Christmas market.
Of course, we wouldn’t be iHeartBerlin if we sent you to the usual markets that are held in the usual places – you know where to find them. We have chosen the most unique and special ones which often come with a little touch too. Here’s our guide to the Christmas markets for 2021. (Remember, they’re all called “winter markets” these days for some reason…)

While the expert pastry chef at Frank Cafe will satisfy your sweet tooth with varieties of spiced orange and chocolate gingerbread. Of course, there will also be hearty and savory dishes as well as beer and sparkling wine for those who prefer. Local artisans join us with unique and delicious gifts.
