BSSC Field Assistant Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process for the BSSC Field Assistant is divided into two written examinations: Prelims and Mains. Prelims exam contains three sections, such as General Studies, General Science and Mathematics and Mental Ability Test. Candidates who qualify for the prelims examination will be eligible for the Mains examination. After the Mains examination, the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the obtained marks in both examinations: prelims and mains.

The written exam for the post of Bihar Field Assistant will be conducted online in both languages: Hindi and English. A total of 150 multiple-choice questions will be asked in the prelims examination. One question will carry 4 marks, and there will be a deduction of 1 mark with every wrong answer. Candidates will only have 2 Hours and 15 minutes to complete the exam.

BSSC Field Assistant Pay Scale 2025
Candidates who will be selected for the position of Field Assistant in Bihar will get a basic salary of Rs. 5200 to Rs. 20,000 with a grade pay of Rs. 1900, according to pay level 2.
