Redukanu, who climbed up to 41st in the ranking after a few months, has received very little happiness against Swiyatech first.
The 2021 US Open Champion has lost all of all its previous meetings – twice on indoor clay in Stuttgart, and twice in hard court in Indian Wales and this year's Australian Open.
The 6–1 6–0 defeat in Melbourne was particularly chasing, in which the groundstrokes of Swiyatech proved to be very powerful and accurate for Redukanu.
“She is really removed when she plays me – I don't know why it is, but she is always well played,” Redukanu told BBC Sport.
“I am not sure this is my thing but every time we have played it has been at a high level.”
