Season 5 of “HPI” was marked by a major change for the police series: Morgane and Karadec are now roommates. The screenwriter confided in the real reasons behind this move.
For 3 weeks now, TF1 has broadcast the fifth and last season of HPI. A salvo of episodes placed under the sign of change for Morgane (Audrey Fleurot) and Karadec (Mehdi Nebbou) since they are now the happy parents of Little Leo. But this is obviously not the only upheaval they have to face in this season 5.
A happy coincidence
Remember: at the end of season 4, while Morgane returned from maternity, she discovered with amazement that her house was seized by bailiffs. Without any rehousing solution, and with a newborn arm, she decided to move to Karadec with all her little brat.
Obviously, this new situation brings its share of comedy in this season 5, the messy style of Morgane and her children shifting with the very organized lifestyle of the policeman.
And if we would have thought that this change of life was born from the spirit of the writers, who wanted to put Morgane again in a precarious situation, it is not.
Alice Chegaray-Breugnot, the HPI collection director, has indeed entrusted to our colleagues from TV leisure that this change was not planned. “” “We lost the rental of the house which served as a setting for that of Morgane. We knew it at the end of the past season”She explained.

This improvised roommate has indeed allowed the writers to bring the two heroes closer to both physically, and sentimentally. It remains to be seen what will be the consequences of this proximity. Will Morgane and Karadec really succeed in getting a couple? We will have to wait until the end of HPI season 5, which will be broadcast next fall on TF1, to have the answer.
