Magenta Moon: Dive Into Another World with this Immersive Digital Experience

Publicity.

When I look out the window right now, all I can think of is just getting out of here. But of course, flying to a better place isn’t always an option. But what I experienced during my visit to Deutsche Telekom’s new Magenta Moon pop-up experience, actually comes pretty close.

The “Moon Garden” is a cutting-edge immersive and interactive experience and the centerpiece of the new Magenta Moon campus which takes place between now and November 1stst at Leipziger Platz in Berlin and online with various workshops and conferences. Imagine entering a room that takes you to a whole new world, stimulating your senses and providing you with a place to relax, play, explore. It sounds like a dream right now – doesn’t it?

Developed by Flora & Fauna Visions, the Moon Garden is a digital dream world perfectly mapped in a circular room with you in the center. As you walk in you find yourself in a fantastic landscape of the magenta Moon – a place of beauty, tranquility and prosperity. You will see a lot of objects that will react to your touch – you can even play a great interactive game by building a rocket that makes you fly through space to reach the moon. It’s very playful and sweet and something for young and old.

I especially liked the Moon Garden night experience, where you see bright exotic flowers and the stars above you. You just want to hang out between the (real) plants and enjoy the atmosphere.

Digital Optimism at Magenta Moon Campus

The Moon Garden is just one of the many attractions on the Magenta Moon Campus. The pop-up experience is a new experience from Deutsche Telekom to bring the live experience that they usually host at IFA to another more accessible location. Everyone is welcome to come here, visit the Moon Garden or one of the many small booths, or one of the conferences, events and workshops that will be taking place here for the next few weeks until November 1st.st. There is even a small cafe for drinks and snacks. The number of visitors is limited and face masks are mandatory, so precautions are a priority in the Magenta Moon.

The main theme of the Magenta Moon Campus is digital optimism. In an age of cyber mobbing, hate speech, electoral manipulation and data capitalism, digitization has shown its negative sides in recent years. Especially in recent times, where personal interactions are limited, digitization is an essential way of interacting with each other. “Digital optimism takes a closer look at the good sides, and also how to deal with the problems of our time in a positive way. It gives us the chance to stop blaming the internet for everything and take a closer look at ourselves while learning to take advantage of the digital tools available to us, ”explains Antje Hundhausen, the initiator of Magenta Moon.

On the program of events and conferences in Berlin and online, renowned speakers such as activist Raul Krauthausen, who will talk about the younger generation and their modes of communication, YouTuber Leeroy Matata who will talk about asking the tough questions of our time , our colleagues at Mit Vergnügen talks about how to make podcasts and YouTuber LeFloid talks about hate speech on the Internet.

If you want to get creative you should look into the workshop program where you can learn from experienced professionals how to improve your photo, audio and video skills, get started in 3D printing or learn how to learn coding. simple.

You can check the program and all the details on the Magenta Moon website. You can also register for your time slot and book tickets for the various workshops and conferences, everything is free. You can also come by and register at the gate. Many events will also be live streamed and offered as an interactive online webinar for you to enjoy from anywhere. Enjoy your trip to the magenta moon! See you in the lunar garden …
