Monster Hunter Wilds April Event Quest Schedule

One of the best ways to get more out of your experience with Monster Hunter Wilds is by checking in frequently for limited event quests. From valuable material farming to exclusive cosmetic rewards, each of the events scattered throughout Monster Hunter Wilds‘ release timeline is worth trying out at least once. Although the first few events for Monster Hunter Wilds weren’t the most exciting, there’s plenty more to come now that the first official title update has been released.

On top of worthwhile event quests, Wilds also brought back arena quests from previous entries, offering even more replayability and limited-time rewards. While not everyone will be fond of the arena quest playstyle, you can finally hunt alongside a friend to make it a much more manageable experience. Although Monster Hunter Wilds‘ first showcase teased some of the upcoming event quests already with its official title update showcase, only recently has Capcom listed all the events that will become available for the next month.

Every Event Quest Coming To Wilds In April 2025

A Stacked Calendar Of Exciting Offerings

The first few weeks of April 2025 don’t have too much in store for players, but there are still a few quests that can help players who are just getting started with the game, with all quests being available directly from Alma’s quest selection menu. Following the month-long quest for the adorable Amstrigian headgear, there will be two quests available on April 8th and 15th that provide Artian weapon materials and Armor Spheres respectively.

The dates on the event quest schedule have been adjusted to UTC-7, which may differ depending on your time zone.

The window for event quests resets at exactly 5:00 pm UTC-7 every Tuesday, making it important to get your questing done the night before so you don’t miss out on any rewards. Thankfully, the time windows are fairly generous, with the Blossomdance festival giving you a chance to complete any missed quests, as each festival will rerun all past events simultaneously.

On top of the material-related event quests, the Doshaguma of the Hollow challenge quest will also be available until April 22nd, giving you plenty of time to get at least a B rating for the limited pendant being released at a later date. Despite these updates, there doesn’t seem to be any word on whether the next few weeks will also see the return of more arena quests or Capcom fixing the arena quest rewards just yet.

The First Of Many Seasonal Festivals For Wilds

The first thing you’ll notice after entering the Gathering Hub after the April 22nd update is the cherry blossom-filled seasonal makeover. Being the first of Wilds‘ seasonal festivals, all previous event quests will become available for two weeks between April 22nd and May 6. After the festival period, the Gathering Hub will return to normal and the quests will no longer be available, but you’ll keep all the rewards you gathered.

Monster Hunter Wilds’ Best Additions Aren’t Coming In Its First Title Update

Monster Hunter Wilds has already announced plenty of content, but a short letter from the game’s director hides some of its most exciting changes yet.

With the Gathering Hub getting all dressed up for the event, you’ll need some new outfits to match, which can be easily crafted after completing a few event quests. As shown in the trailer, the new butterfly armor and matching Palico set can be earned from the Daughters of Carabosse’s quest to hunt two Lala Barina.

The showcase also announced there will be several gestures, decorations, and equipment made available as well, but it’s unclear how all of these will be unlocked. Knowing Which Quests Are Worth Farming Is A Huge Timesaver

Unfortunately, many initial event quests for Wilds that provide farming materials are far from the most effective method of acquiring them in Wilds, being easily outclassed by most standard investigations. The main benefit behind these early-game events is to help players who don’t have access to investigations, providing a guaranteed way to farm if you’ve been unlucky with your monster spawns.

Out of all the standard material farming quests, Chemicus Nocturnus for rare minerals like Firestone and Gravios Blockade for cooking ingredients will likely be the most efficient use of your time. While these event quests might not be the most efficient way to farm for materials, they let you do it while hunting and getting additional monster materials on the side. Unfortunately, the Stalking Supper quest is no longer available to farm Kunafa Cheese, and will not be included in the upcoming festival this month despite being available as a part of the recent March event quest schedule.

Monster Hunter Wilds had a confusing cosmetic sales model, but the showcase finally gave a glimpse at what future DLC will have in store for the game.

With Monster Hunter Wilds introducing layered armor systems so early, fashion has become an even bigger part of Wilds’ post-game grind, offering a new purpose for replaying hunts. Thankfully, several event quests allow you to permanently unlock new armor sets to use on their own, or layered over top of your regular builds. Currently, there are four unique headgear up for grabs in the form of two animals, a piece of jewelry, and an eyepatch, alongside a full butterfly-themed armor set for your hunter to wear.
