More than 3 lakh candidates registered for the NDA 2025 exam, competing for a total of 406 seats for admission into the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy for FY 2025-26. The selection process for the NDA 1 exam is based on candidates’ performance in the written examination and the Intelligence & Personality Test (SSB). UPSC NDA 1 Exam 2025- Marking Scheme

• Mathematics – This section carries a total of 300 marks. Candidates get 2.5 marks for each correct answer.
• General Ability Test – This section carries 400 marks. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
