The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has recently announced the new RRB ALP Exam Date 2025 for the CBT 2 Exam which was earlier postponed. As per the notice, now RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam 2025 will be conducted on 2nd and 6th May 2025. The exam will be conducted for the candidates who couldn’t complete their exam when conducted on 19th & 20th March 2025. The fresh admit cards will be issued by 28th April 2025 and exam city details has been released on 22nd April 2025.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) announced 18799 vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilots posts for which the 1st stage of the selection process i.e. RRB ALP CBT 1 was already conducted. After the declaration of RRB ALP CBT 1 Result, the shortlisted candidates have to appear for CBT 2 Exam which has been rescheduled for 2 days i.e. for 2nd and 6th May 2025. The reporting time of candidates at the examination centre is 7:30 am (1st Shift) and 12:30 pm (2nd Shift).

In the official notice of RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Date 2025, it is also mentioned that the city intimation slips will be released 10 days before the scheduled exam. For 2nd May exam, the exam city has been released on 22nd April 2025 and for 6th May exam, it will be released on 28th April 2025. Similarly, the admit cards will be released 4 days before the exam date.

The RRB ALP 2025 2nd stage of the CBT exam will be conducted for all those candidates who declared qualified in the CBT 1 exam. In RRB ALP 2nd stage of Computer Based Exam consist of 2 papers. Paper 1 consists of a total of 100 MCQ-based questions topics from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, General Awareness, and Current Affairs. In Paper 2 a total of 75 questions will be asked from Relevant Trade. The total time duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes. In the CBT 2 exam, a negative mark of ⅓rd mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
