The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the cancellation of the RRB CBT 2 exam held on 22nd April in 2nd shift for 7951 vacancies of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) under CEN No. 03/2024. The examination was conducted on 22nd April 2025 across two shifts, and the board released the answer keys yesterday. However, it has come to the attention of the board that, despite these measures, some questions from the first shift were repeated in the second shift because of a technical error within the software system.

Yes, according to an official notice released by the Chairpersons of the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), the decision to cancel the RRB JE CBT 2 2nd shift exam was made due to the inadvertent repetition of some questions from the first shift. The RRBS highlighted their commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality in the creation, processing, maintenance, storage, encryption, and administration of question sets. Therefore, now the RRB JE CBT 2 Exam for the candidates who appeared in shift 2 will be conducted again and the new dates will be announced soon at the official website.
