With this cursed year coming to an end, Berlin falls into one of the most magical times of the year: the holidays. Normally full with Glühwein, freezing cold and Christmas markets, this winter is going to be far from normal (except freezing cold). While the holidays may be a little different this year, it’s still the season to give back to the people you love and the city we all love. We’ve compiled this gift guide featuring Berlin small businesses if you’re looking for an Amazon alternative. All of the businesses listed in the following guides are small, ethical, locally owned, and are sure to put a smile on your loved ones (and their owners).

For the party animal:

If your friend misses the club more than eating out, you know he’s going to be dying to hit the dance floor with some new rave gear. Check out iHeartBerlin’s club wear guide here to gear them up. Many brands also offer gift cards for the undecided party-goers in your life.

For coffee lovers:

This friend is really running out of coffees at the moment and wants a white dish and a popular pastry inside. While this is not possible at this time and will not be until next year, there are many cafes listed in our guides (here and here) that offer gift cards, delivery or take out or you can gift your own. friend a caffeine (or boozy) brunch once things reopened.
