The Abyss on France 2: where was the series filmed with Sara Mortensen and Gil Alma? –

The France 2 mini-series L’Abîme arrives on the channel tonight, from 9:10 p.m. In this fiction mixing suspense and mysteries, Sara Mortensen and Gil Alma play the main roles. They play Elsa and Laurent Lacaze who have everything from a model couple… Very much in love and married for twenty years, they are the devoted parents of Lucie, a sparkling teenager.

A thrilling mini-series

However, one morning, Elsa does not return from her usual jog and disappears without a trace. The world of Laurent, and of his daughter, is tinged at first with anguish… then ends up collapsing when the police tell them that Elsa is not the person she claims to be. Laurent must face the facts: the woman he is in love with is an enigma. An enigma whose past resurfaces today…

Here, Sara Mortensen (who answered our questions) and Gil Alma give the answer to several actors well known to the general public. Thus, we find in the credits Marie Mallia (More beautiful life), Samuel Labarthe (The Little Murders of Agatha Christie), Anne Loiret (I promise you), Hélène Seuzaret (Black track), Christopher Bayemi (HPI) or even Malik Elakehal El Miliani (Such a great sun).

Where was “The Abyss” filmed?

Well put together but unfortunately marked by too many twists and turns, L’Abîme also offers viewers a moment of escape by presenting sumptuous landscapes and unusual places on the screen. Besides, where was the fiction filmed?

Sara Mortensen, the star of Astrid and Raphaëlle, whose filming for season 4 is over, revealed to AlloCiné where the series’ teams went to film these six episodes: “In the Gorges du Verdon, we shot in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, then in the Cassagne estate, with a magnificent castle where wine is produced. It is outside of Aix-en-Provence. We were also a little bit in Marseille. And we have been to the Etang de Berre and the Lac de Sainte-Croix.“Natural scenery, therefore, breathtaking!
