Even low winter temperatures didn’t deter the hottest looks from Italy’s fashion capital for Milan Fashion Week A/W19. With some of the country’s biggest exports including Gucci, Moschino, Prada and Versace showcasing their A/W19 collections, Italy’s fashion elite have flocked to the streets of Milan. The world’s most fashionable have fought the chill with an abundance of rainbow tones, with bright pops of color being a common theme. Tone blocking has proven to be a versatile trend, with some daring with bright reds, greens or pinks, while others have kept it understated with monochromatic brown looks. Other trends abounding throughout the week include oversized menswear-inspired power suits and ankle-length overcoats. While bright colors seem to be in abundance this week, many complimented this by keeping their accessories and footwear simple with a white boot or sneaker and minimal jewelry.
