The Black Friday season is one of the best times of the year to find good deals on Apple productsand this year is no exception. Case in point is Apple’s HomePod Mini smart speaker. It’ll still cost you $99 at the Apple Store, but the Verizon Store has been selling it for $80 — a savings of nearly 20%. (It was briefly selling at the same price at Target, but no longer.) That’s within $5 of its all-time low price.
The only “catch” is that some of the colors are already sold out. As of this writing, white and space gray are gone, leaving you to choose among the more vibrant yellow, orange and blue options for now.
For the uninitiated, the HomePod Mini is Apple’s latest Siri-powered smart speakerand a borderline essential gadget if you’re an Apple Music subscriber or if you’re trying to put together an Apple HomeKit smart home setup. Despite its diminutive size, the spherical tabletop speaker can fill a room with sound and you can even pair two of them with your Apple TV for a great stereo experience.
If you’ve been thinking about picking up a HomePod Mini for your kitchen, living room or any other part of your house and you’ve been waiting for the right time, well, here’s your opportunity to get one for a $20 less than usual.
